    Absolutely disgusting! It was not good selection, poor service and I'm pretty sure it's also a soup kitchen. If I'm gonna pay $30 a dish, I don't really care for the downtown crackheads and drunks bothering me while eating. I would never go back nor would I ever recommend. Sorry.

    Not having a lot of knowledge of African cuisine, I can only say that the food had good flavour. I'd guess that being up in GP, some ingredients are hard to come by and the dishes can't possibly be that authentic. As a case in point, part of the sauce in my goat dish wasn't well-mixed, so I could taste plain old BBQ sauce.

    The meats were overdone for North American standards, but were nicely seasoned. The portions were generous.

    I was confused at the end of dinner as to how my bill came to be...no receipt to break it down...just a verbal confirmation of the final total. I don't think the total was right. As for the service... horrendously slow. Maybe I'll do takeout next time.
